How and when to use a Moxon antenna or T antenna

MOXON antenna
The directional Moxon antenna is designed for long range and has a narrower field of view. It is important that the Moxon antenna is pointed in the general direction of the aircraft.

The T antenna is an omnidirectional antenna. It is designed for short to medium range and is suitable for most conditions.
