BETAFPV SuperP 14CH Diversity Receiver ELRS 2.4GHz / 868MHz

This receiver is based on the BETAFPV SuperD True Diversity Receiver and Micro Receiver models, adopting their best features. It has 14 PWM channels, two antennas, a dual receiver circuit, a TCXO oscillator, and an I2C port for external sensors. In addition, a 3-pin port is for an RGB light strip.

Comparison with other BETAFPV receivers

The TCXO (Temperature Compensated Crystal Oscillator) ensures extremely accurate frequency even under extreme conditions. This allows the SuperP 14CH RX to operate stably even in extreme heat or cold.

Important:
F1000 and F500 – packet frequencies in FLRC mode, providing faster modulation and lower latency, but shorter operating range than regular LoRa mode. This mode is suitable for racers;
D500 and D250 – packet frequencies in DVDA (Deja Vu Diversity Aid) mode. DVDA operates at the F1000 frequency from FLRC mode, but sends the same data packet multiple times to ensure better communication in case of interference;
D500 – the same packet is sent 2 times;
D250 – the same packet is sent 4 times;
D50 is a unique mode of the ELRS 900M, which retransmits packets 4 times in 200Hz LoRa mode. Its reception distance is equivalent to 200Hz mode;
100Hz Full – a mode that allows you to achieve 16 channels of full resolution output at a 200Hz LoRa packet transmission frequency. Its reception distance is equivalent to 200Hz.

Port configuration:

1. Connecting to the configuration page via WiFi mode:
2. Turn on the receiver and wait 60 seconds without connecting to any transmitter.
3. When the RGB indicator starts to slowly flash green, it means that WiFi is activated.
4. Connect to WiFi via phone or computer (WiFi name: ExpressLRS RX, password: expresslrs).
5. Open the address in your browser: http://10.0.0.1/hardware.html
6. On the configuration page, you can set PWM, CRSF, I2C ports.

Note: Do not change the settings of other functional ports.

• VBAT – Battery voltage detection port, supporting 1-6S battery voltage detection.
• In CRSF mode - CH13 becomes RX, CH14 becomes TX.
• In SBUS mode – CH13 is not used, CH14 becomes SBUS.
• In I2C mode – CH11 is SCL, CH12 is SDA.

Binding procedure (Binding)

The default firmware of the SuperP 14CH receiver uses the ExpressLRS V3.3.0 protocol and does not have a preset pairing phrase. The transmitter module must be ExpressLRS V3.0.0 or later.

Pairing steps:

1. Turn the receiver on and off 3 times, waiting 2 seconds between each turn on/off;
2. When the indicator quickly flashes orange twice in a row, the device is in pairing mode;
3. Put the transmitter into pairing mode and connect it to the receiver;
4. When the indicator turns solid color, pairing is complete.

Note: After successful pairing, devices will connect automatically in the future.

FailSafe and channel output settings

1. Turn on the receiver and wait 60 seconds without connecting to the remote control.
2. When the RGB indicator starts to flash green slowly, WiFi is activated.
3. Connect to WiFi (ExpressLRS RX, password: expresslrs).
4. Open the address in your browser: http://10.0.0.1 and go to the model page.

Failsafe settings:

• Failsafe value allows you to determine the position of the servers in case of loss of connection;
• Do not press “Reverse”! If you select “750us”, the failsafe value must be divided in half;
• If the failsafe value exceeds 1500, the mode automatically switches to On/Off mode.

Channel output settings:

Select the desired mode from the drop-down menu:

• 50–400Hz – PWM signal frequency
• 10KHzDuty – for controlling micro motors
• ON/OFF – high or low level output
• Serial TX/RX – serial data transmission

I2C/CRSF/SBUS output settings:

• I2C mode – set CH11 as I2C SCL, CH12 as I2C SDA.

• CRSF/SBUS mode – CH13 as Serial RX, CH14 as Serial TX.

1. Select the serial protocol (CRSF, SBUS, SUMD, DJI RS Pro, HoTT Telemetry);
2. Set the baud rate (except for SBUS protocol);
3. Click “SAVE&REBOOT” to complete the settings.

Note:

• In CRSF mode - CH13 becomes RX, CH14 becomes TX.
• In SBUS mode – CH13 has no output, CH14 becomes SBUS.
