Very durable BEC
1S whoop drones often fly at only 3.3V, and digital video transmission requires higher current, which puts a heavy load on the BEC. For this purpose, an advanced BEC has been developed that can deliver more than 3A of current even at a very low voltage of 2.85V. This ensures stable video transmission in critical situations. Although flying at such low voltages is not recommended, this innovation gives pilots the opportunity to save the drone in unexpected situations.

Improved 12A ESC
• The Matrix 1S FC offers an ESC with 12A continuous and 18A peak current, ensuring reliable performance and an optimal thrust-to-weight ratio.
Separate power line for IMU
• Independent 3.3V LDO supply for IMU eliminates interference, improving accuracy and stability during flight.
Whoop-ready installation
• The 3IN1 version has motor connectors and a SH1.0 6-pin HD port, making installation and maintenance simple and without soldering.

Serial ELRS 2.4G RX - 3IN1 version
• Serial ELRS 2.4G RX uses Crossfire (CRSF) protocol to communicate with flight controller. Supports upgrade to ELRS V3.0 without Betaflight firmware change.
Connection and pairing:
• Turn the FC on and off three times;
• The RX LED should blink twice quickly – this indicates bind mode;
• Ensure that the RF TX module or remote control enters bind mode;
• If the RX LED is on steadily, the device is paired.
Firmware update:
• Connect the FC to the computer and use the ExpressLRS Configurator;
• Select the target „BETAFPV 2.4GHz AIO RX“;
• Use the Betaflight Passthrough feature.
Betaflight firmware 3IN1 version:
• FC firmware: Betaflight_4.5.1_BETAFPVG473;
• Download – firmware and CLI dump file
• Use only 3IN1 firmware to avoid performance problems;
• Github – github.com/betaflight/betaflight/releases/tag/4.5.2
• Recommended gyroscope version: ICM42688 v4.5.0 or later, optimized for stability and accuracy.
Bluejay ESC software
The Matrix 1S 3IN1 HD Brushless Flight Controller uses a BB51 ESC solution based on A_X_5_96_v0.19.2.hex Bluejay software. It supports DSHOT300 and DSHOT600 signals, as well as RPM filtering in Betaflight. It offers 24 kHz, 48 kHz and 96 kHz fixed PWM frequencies and the ability to set individual motor start melodies.
(do not update) the software with a shorter interval, as there is a chance that the flight controller may crash or even burn out.

The UART3 port on the Matrix 1S flight controller is connected to the integrated Serial ELRS receiver, so to free it you need to remove the resistor. The controller also has two additional fully functional serial ports that can be used to connect external serial receivers, a GPS module, an HD VTX or other devices. All connection points and their layout are illustrated in the schematics of the Matrix 1S Brushless Flight Controller (3IN1) version.
