Scheme:

„The Matrix 5IN1 II features a significantly more powerful ESC, which has been upgraded from 5A to 12A (18A peak) to meet the high instantaneous power demands of 1S whoop drones. This increase was achieved after thorough testing by integrating 12 MOSFET transistors directly on the board. Together with gold-plated motor connectors, this ensures better conductivity and more efficient power transfer, providing stronger and more responsive thrust.

Built on community feedback for crash resistance, the board now features a 3-point mounting system. This solution creates the necessary cushioning space during impact, reducing stress on key components and reducing the likelihood of damage by up to 80%. Combined with a thicker 1.0mm PCB and optimized component layout, the Matrix 5IN1 II is designed to withstand heavy impacts and serious crashes.

To meet the needs of different pilots, the Matrix 5IN1 II is available in two versions: solderless and soldered. The solderless version comes with motor connectors and power cable already soldered, making installation quick and easy. The soldered version comes with gold-plated JST1.25 connectors and a BT2.0 U-type cable for individual wiring. Larger solder points allow for direct soldering and reduce overall weight.

Serial ELRS 2.4G RX „The Serial ELRS 2.4G RX uses the Crossfire serial protocol (CRSF protocol) for communication between the receiver and the flight controller board. Therefore, this Serial ELRS 2.4G RX supports upgrading to ELRS V3.0 without the need to reflash the Betaflight flight controller firmware. The pairing mode is entered by turning the power on/off three times. • Connect and disconnect the flight controller three times; „The Serial ELRS 2.4G RX can be updated via Wi-Fi or using Betaflight Serial Passthrough. Below is the method to update the Serial ELRS 2.4G RX firmware via passthrough mode. • Connect the FC to your computer and connect via ExpressLRS Configurator, not Betaflight Configurator; How to update software via Wi-Fi - here Betaflight software and CLI „Betaflight's official developers recommend using the 42688 gyro version, and many of the issues related to the ICM42688 have been fixed in version 4.5.3. For more information, see the 4.5.3 release notes. FC software: Betaflight_4.5.3_BETAFPVG473_V2, download the firmware and CLI dump file https://github.com/betaflight/betaflight/releases/tag/4.5.3 Bluejay ESC software Using the BB51 ESC solution, the Matrix 1S Brushless Flight Controller uses the A_X_5_96KHz_V0.19.hex firmware for the BB51 Bluejay hardware. It supports DShot300, DShot600 and even RPM filtering in Betaflight, as well as offering selectable fixed PWM frequencies: 24KHz, 48KHz and 96KHz, and customizable start-up melodies. DO NOT flash software with a shorter interval, as this may cause the motors to stall and the flight controller to burn out. ESC – Configurator: https://preview.esc-configurator.com/ DA_X_5_48_v0.19.2.hex How to use serial ports, integrated RX and VTX Please note that by default UART2 is connected to VTX and UART3 to RX, and to free UART3, you need to remove the resistor. In addition, this FC has 2 fully functional serial ports that can be used to connect external CRSF/SBUS receivers, GPS, HD VTX or other serial devices. Please see the pictures below for more details.
• Make sure the RX LED indicator blinks twice quickly – this means the receiver is in pairing mode;
• Make sure the RF TX module or radio transmitter is in pairing mode and sending a pairing signal;
• If the receiver light is on steadily, pairing is successful.
• Select the target device "BETAFPV 2.4GHz AIO RX";
• Perform the recording using the BetaflightPassthrough option in the ExpressLRS Configurator.
