Performance and compatibility

To ensure optimal connection stability and operating range, it is recommended to install the antennas as far away as possible from conductive or magnetic components, such as carbon fiber, metal parts and motors. To fully utilize the receiver's capabilities, it is recommended to use the latest version of the ExpressLRS software and follow the ExpressLRS community for news, updates and usage recommendations. The receiver is compatible with the ExpressLRS ecosystem and supports the 2.4 GHz, 868 MHz and 900 MHz frequency bands.

Frequency selection

The 900 MHz and 2.4 GHz bands offer excellent range and reliable connectivity. Due to different regional regulations, the 900 MHz FCC version typically provides better performance than the 868 MHz EU version. The 2.4 GHz band works well in all regions and supports an extremely high packet rate of up to 500 Hz, ensuring low latency and precise control. ExpressLRS 2.4 GHz technology is designed specifically for high performance and cannot be directly compared to previous 2.4 GHz control systems.
