The RadioMaster RP series receivers feature a built-in TCXO (Temperature-Controlled Crystal Oscillator) that ensures reliable, stable, and accurate signal reception, making them perform well in challenging conditions and enhancing the flight experience.
The RP1 and RP2 2.4GHz ELRS nano series receivers are open source devices based on ExpressLRS technology. The nano receivers were first developed by Jye Smith from the ExpressLRS development team. They feature the ESP8285 MCU and SX1280 RF chips. The RP1 has a UFL antenna socket for connecting a full-range antenna, while the RP2 has a built-in ceramic antenna - extremely lightweight and compact, making it perfect for racing.
The RP1 and RP2 have built-in WiFi, so you can perform software updates wirelessly and configure the receiver via the built-in WebUI using a computer or mobile phone.
The low latency and high refresh rate of the RF module make the RP1 and RP2 ideal for FPV racing or long-range flights. Thanks to their ultra-small and lightweight design, these nano receivers can be adapted to a wide variety of models!

TCXO (Temperature Compensated Crystal Oscillator)
The TCXO provides high frequency control stability and accuracy by compensating for temperature fluctuations. This ensures consistent and reliable signal reception even in extreme temperatures. It also reduces frequency drift over time, ensuring long-term frequency stability and protecting the signal from degradation.
